We understand you can't wait to crawl into your SJUMO bedding, but we recommend washing it first.
Washing Instructions
For a longer lifespan and to minimize environmental impact, we recommend washing the product at 40°C. For hygienic reasons, washing at 60°C is also possible. Use a mild detergent, without fabric softener or bleach, and always wash with similar colors to keep your bedding fresh and the colors vibrant.
After washing, remove your bedding from the machine immediately for a fresh scent and hang it to dry. Prefer tumble drying? No problem, use a low temperature and a short cycle, as SJUMO dries quickly.
How often should you wash your bedding?
It’s best to change your bedding once a week. While you sleep, you can lose between 0.3 to 2 liters of moisture per night, which adds up over a week, along with the bacteria, sweat, and dead skin cells we naturally shed. Regularly changing your bedding ensures a more hygienic and comfortable sleep environment, leading to better night’s rest.
What about your pillowcase?
It’s important to wash your pillowcases regularly, at least once a week. If you wear makeup to bed or have sensitive skin, consider washing your pillowcase more often. Washing your face before bed can help keep your pillowcases fresher for longer.

The Advantage of SJUMO
One of the biggest advantages of SJUMO bedding? You don’t need to iron it! After washing, you can immediately make up your bed wrinkle-free. Another great plus is that SJUMO bedding is hypoallergenic and absorbs moisture well, leaving little chance for bacteria to develop. Bacteria cannot easily attach to the smooth fibers, keeping your bedding fresh for longer and making it feel like it’s just been washed.
Sleep well!
